It was the dream of Papa Baldy (John Winterbottom) and he and his wife took the opportunity when it came up to open a pizza restaurant. From the start their vision was to create the best pizza in Red Deer that they could make, using natural ingredients, fresh vegetables daily, dough rolled onsite, and their own cheese blend. Even through the tragic death of Papa Baldy in October 2017, Papa Baldy’s continues to thrive after support from friends and customers for Aileen to continue the dream.
